Bucky Dent Signed and Inscribed "10.2.78" Photograph

Bucky Dent has signed and inscribed this 8 x 10 black and white photograph "10.2.78" in blue sharpie pen. On 10.2.1978, in one of the most dramatic one game playoff games ever played, Bucky Dent hit a home run in Fenway Park that gave the New York Yankees a lead and win the division title, vs the Boston Red Sox. The Yankees were 14 games behind the Red Sox in the standings by July and the teams ended the season in a tie. Ron Guidry the Yankee pitching ace was pitching on 3 days rest and the Red Sox jumped to a lead, when unexpectedly Bucky Dent hit a home run over the "Green Monster" to give the Yankees a lead. Bucky Dent was not a home run hitter but this was one of the great Yankee home runs ever. Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
