Professor Muhammad Ali 1975 Harvard Commencement Speech Original Photograph

This is an amazing original photograph of boxing legend Muhammad Ali speaking before the senior graduating class at Harvard University in 1975 just weeks before his bout with Joe Bugner in Kuala Lumpur. Ali is photographed at the podium in this original 8 X 10 black and white photograph from where Harvard’s daily newspaper “The Harvard Crimson,” reported “Professor Muhammad Ali Delivers Lecture; Poems and Parables…” delivered a 30 minute speech on friendship and heart, quoted as saying, “One learns friendship by being one. If a man extracts in return all he does for a friend then it is business, not true friendship.” And regarding Heart, “for the greatness of a man depends on his heart not on his education or wealth.” In conclusion, in recognition of good college humor, Ali joked of his long-time friend Howard Cosell, “Howard wanted to be a boxer but they couldn’t find a mouthpiece big enough…” Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
