The 2009 World Series Baseball Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on: 11/6/2009

Considered the "picture-perfect" player during his baseball career, this fabulous original photograph of the legendary "Yankee Clipper" Joe DiMaggio is the perfect picture showing his feat in sport fishing as he holds up two of his prize fish catches in this original 7 X 9.5 color photograph that he has uniquely signed with his rare full name signature, "Joseph P. DiMaggio," in blue sharpie pen. The photograph was signed in the presence of DiMaggio's long-time friend, confidant and attorney Morris Engelberg and comes with a signed and notarized letter from Engelberg. DiMaggio's fabulous 13 year career leading the Yankees as a player was heralded by his record 56-consecutive-game hitting streak in 1941, one of the biggest, if not the biggest, baseball feats of all time.
