SOLD This rare original vintage business card represents Jackie Robinson's first employment following his retirement from the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team in 1956 - when he ended his 10 year career after becoming the first African American to play in the major leagues. It’s the only one we’ve ever seen. Robinson served as Vice President and Director of Personnel at Chock full o'Nuts until his resignation in 1964 when he went to work with Governor Rockefeller. This fabulous relic is a scarce memento handed out by this Hall of Famer whose pursuits in business, politics and civil rights following his career in baseball paralleled his "on field" excellence.
